HYIPIndex Methodology

How the HM Index is calculated, how monitors are weighted, and what every status means.

What Is the HM Index?

The HM Index (Hyip Monitor Index) is a composite score from 0 to 10 that measures the overall health and reliability of a HYIP project. It aggregates data from 34+ active monitors, weighted by each monitor's historical accuracy and trust level.

Status Definitions

Every project receives one of four statuses based on monitor consensus:

Status
Paying — Multiple high-trust monitors confirm the project is processing withdrawals normally.
Status
Waiting — Monitors report delays or the project is in a pending verification period.
Status
Problem — Significant payment delays, reduced withdrawals, or access issues reported.
Status
Not Paying — Monitors confirm the project has stopped processing withdrawals entirely.

How Status Is Determined

Each monitor reports a status for every project it tracks. The final status is computed using trust-weighted voting:

HM Index Formula

HM = baseScore × monitorCountBonus × nopayPenalty

Where:

baseScore (0–10)
Weighted average of: consensus (40%), monitor trust (20%), project age (10%), payment frequency (15%), community signals (15%)
monitorCountBonus
min(monitors / 5, 1) — Projects tracked by fewer than 5 monitors receive a penalty, encouraging broader coverage.
nopayPenalty
1.0 if no "not paying" reports. Scales down to 0.1 as multiple monitors flag non-payment.

Data Collection

Our crawler fetches each of the 34+ active HYIP monitors every 10 minutes. For each monitor:

  1. Fetch: HTTP request with a Chrome UA header, 15–25s timeout
  2. Parse: HTML is scanned for project tables, div-based listings, and known CMS patterns (GoldCoders CMS, H-Metrics multi-page)
  3. Extract: Domain name, status, payment type (instant/manual), investment plan, min/max deposit amounts
  4. Aggregate: Results are merged into the project database, status history is compacted (latest entry per monitor + domain), and the HM Index is recalculated

Data is broadcast in real-time via WebSocket to all connected dashboard clients.

Monitor Trust Scores

Each monitor is assigned a trust score (0.50–0.92) based on:

Monitors blocked by Cloudflare or returning persistent errors (403, 502) are excluded from active rotation but remain in the config for retry.

Frequently Asked Questions

How often is data updated?
Our crawler runs every 10 minutes, fetching all active monitors in parallel. Dashboard updates are pushed via WebSocket in real-time.
Can I submit a project for listing?
We currently source all project data from public HYIP monitors. If your project is listed on a major monitor, it will appear here automatically. Contact us for elite program consideration.
How many monitors are active?
We track 34+ active HYIP monitors. Some are blocked by Cloudflare (4 currently unreachable) but remain in rotation for retry on each crawl cycle.
What payment types are tracked?
We extract payment type (instant/manual), investment plan details, and min/max deposit amounts from monitors that provide this information. Currently ~22+ projects have payment details extracted.
How is the "Elite" badge assigned?
Elite status is a manual designation for projects with exceptional HM Index scores, broad monitor coverage, and verified payment history. It is assigned via the admin panel.
